Kimberley Kausen

Chef, Entertainer, and Educator with over 15 years of experience bringing joy to every home and kitchen table.

From the very beginning…

The kitchen has always been my favorite place to be.

I grew up in a home where meals were about connection; I spent many summers cooking with my grandmother (who lived to 108!) and my enthusiastic mother. These two gracious women showed me that hosting was an act of pure joy, not stress.

In my family, hosting Thanksgiving was the ultimate flex. After watching these two women conquer what seemed like an impossible feat, I felt inspired and decided to finally take on the challenge in my early twenties. Of course I took on way too much, but I earned A LOT. And the fun I experienced while experimenting in my tiny San Francisco flat that day ignited a passion for cooking and entertaining that would last with me to this very day.

But cooking wasn’t always my thing. In fact, I spent 20 years in high-tech sales before finally following the pull that had been simmering for years.  When our daughter was born, I stepped out of corporate life…and into the kitchen. From there, I started teaching cooking classes - nervous, unsure, but wildly curious. With the help of a supportive community of students, I found my voice, my confidence, and my purpose.

For the last 15 years, I’ve taught thousands of home cooks how to feel confident, creative, and connected in their kitchens - the same way I learned to.

And that’s how Savour was born.

The Heart & Soul of Savour

Every one of my dishes starts with a bold, beautiful flavor…the kind that makes your kitchen smell irresistible.

Flavor First

Food is an invitation. Whether it’s a family dinner or a casual bite with neighbors, the best moments happen when we share a meal and savour the moment.

Share the Table

I love recipes that work for real life: quick enough for a Tuesday, but special enough for a Saturday night with friends.

Keep it Real
